OUR STORY

Every story has a beginning — this is ours.

During the first lockdown, I was working as a retail manager and, like many, needed a creative

outlet. I found it in restoring old, unwanted furniture — giving forgotten pieces a second life

with some care, attention, and elbow grease.

One day, while finishing a piece, I reached for some beeswax and thought:

Could I make this myself?

Better yet, could I produce my own beeswax from my own bees — and include a handmade block with each piece as a personal touch?

I mentioned the idea to my partner Carly, who immediately loved it. With her encouragement, I enrolled in a beginner’s course through our local BBKA (British Beekeepers Association), and a good friend generously offered up space in his garden for my first hive.

From there, things quickly grew. What started as a simple curiosity soon became a full-blown obsession — and now, with over 30 thriving colonies, beekeeping is a core part of our lives.

We now are looking to split our time between South Buckinghamshire and Bodmin in Cornwall, working across both locations to care for our bees to build and expand our small business.

What began with a single hive and a block of wax has grown into something much more. Alongside our raw honey and beeswax, we now handcraft a range of natural beeswax cosmetics — from nourishing balms to gentle skincare — all made in small batches with love, care, and respect for the bees.

Our mission is simple: to celebrate the beauty of bees and share what they create — honestly, sustainably, and with heart.

Whether you're here for a jar of honey, a handmade balm, or simply curious about our story — welcome. We’re so glad you’re here.
